What is Real Wright?

Real Wright is a full service real estate office serving buyers and sellers of real estate, anywhere in Maine. The name is a clever, or so we think, play on Real, as in real estate, and Wright, as in our name, Wright.

Is Real Wright a licensed real estate office?

Yes! Our licensed partner, Byrne Wright holds a license in Maine. Our parent brokerage, The Maine Real Estate Experience holds licenses in Maine and New Hampshire.

Who is Byrne Wright?

I'm just a regular guy who happens to be licensed to work in real estate. I'm easy going, direct and pride myself on always being available for my clients. I wear jeans and flannel a lot and my beard sometimes gets long and unruly in the winter.

What can you expect when you call Real Wright?

Friendly conversation, honest information and maybe a couple of laughs. No pressure, no pitches, no obligation. Our goal is to make sure you understand what options are available to you when it comes to buying or selling real estate in Maine.

What services does Real Wright offer?

Real Wright is a full service real estate office. We work with sellers to get their property listed on the real market. We handle all marketing and promotion to get the property sold for the highest value in a reasonable amount of time for their situation. For buyers, we provide financial preparation assistance and guidance. Then, we work to locate, investigate and negotiate property that meets their needs. We provide professional representation and experience to make sure that our clients get the best deal possible.

What is Real Wright's coverage area?

Maine! Somerset, Franklin and Kennebec counties are our primary areas. However, we would be happy to discuss your plans to buy or sell property anywhere in Maine. If we don't feel that we can provide you with the best service in a particular area, we will partner with another agent from our large network to make sure that you receive the best service. Here are just some of the towns we cover: Anson, Augusta, Avon, Belgrade, Benton, Bingham, Canaan, Carrabassett Valley, Chesterville, Clinton, Cornville, Embden, Fairfield, Farmington, Industry, Kingfield, Madison, Mercer, Moscow, Mount Vernon, New Portland, New Sharon, New Vineyard, Norridgewock, North Anson, Oakland, Readfield, Rome, Skowhegan, Smithfield, Solon, Starks, Strong, The Forks, Vienna, Waterville, Wilton and beyond....

How much does it cost to work with Real Wright?

Initially, nothing. Consultations are always free. We generally do not charge any upfront fees and in most cases you will not pay anything until we get you to closing. We work on commission and each proparty is different. Our rates and fees will be clearly explained as part of your initial consultation. We know no one wants to pay more than they have to and we negotiate our commissions when possible to save our clients money.

How much is my home worth?

Let's see! We would be happy to take a look and give you a free Comparative Market Analysis (CMA). We have all the tools needed to compare your home to others in the area, review current market trends and historical data to get an accurate estimate of your home's value.

What is the market like?

Ever changing. However, while some things change, some things never do. There will always be a need for housing. There are always buyers and there are always sellers. If you wait for the market to change so it fits your needs you might miss your best opportunity. We always say, the best time to buy or sell property is when you're ready.

Does Real Wright work with "Out of Staters"?

Of Course. We all came from somewhere. Byrne was born and raised in PA and moved to Maine in December of 2020. He packed a rented truck, made the trip to Maine then went back to PA, got a second truck and made the trip again. In the snow, uphill both ways. We understand from experience that moving can be very challenging and have helped people from other places find their new home in Maine. We've handled all of their relocation needs from this end to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I'm happy to work with anyone, from anywhere if they believe Maine is where they want to be.

Why should I work with Real Wright?

Mostly, because you're comfortable with us. We are friendly, easy going and down to earth. We keep things simple and straight forward. If you want a suit and tie guy to impress you with fancy presentations and sales gimmicks.... That's not us. We focus on research, information and communication throughout the entire process. Our clients are informed, always know what's happening and never feel alone. We never work with people that we don't trust and wouldn't expect you to either.

What is a REALTOR® and why is it in all caps?

Here is the official answer from Realtor.com:

Realtors are licensed real estate agents who are members of the National Association of Realtors®, the largest trade group in the country. Every real estate agent is not a Realtor, but most are. If you’re unsure, you can ask your agent if he or she is a licensed Realtor. Realtors are also held to a higher ethical standard than real estate agents and must adhere to a Realtor Code of Ethics. In this sense, when home buyers hire a licensed real estate professional who is also a Realtor, they have added assurance that they will receive fair and exceptional service from beginning to end. REALTOR® is a registered trademark and often used in all caps.
